Münchhausen – Hieronymus and his family, life in the 18th century.
The "Baron of Lies" is the most famous of the Münchhausen family. Widely traveled, his adventures appeared in book form in 1786. We illuminate his life, his family, and their connection to Schwöbber Castle and tell how life was in the 18th century in the Weser Uplands.
Enjoy coffee and cake by the historic fireplace, the ambiance of the Knight's Hall, and listen to presentations on cultural topics and personalities of the region.
