Our Partners
Partner of Schlosshotel Münchhausen
We are proud of the good cooperation with our partners and would like to introduce them to you here:
The German Fairy Tale Route (DMS) enjoys a very positive image not only in Germany and Europe but especially overseas and in Asia:
The idea and history are rooted in the globally spread "Children's and Household Tales" of the Brothers Grimm, which have now been recognized as UNESCO World Documentary Heritage and whose two hundredth 'birthday' has been celebrated since 2012.Through this connection, the German Fairy Tale Route also represents a positive and – in a double sense – romantic image of Germany. In the eyes of many guests – especially from overseas – this is shaped by the fairy tale illustrations by Otto Ubbelohde, which originated in Hessian towns and landscapes.
Since January 2017, we have been the chosen exclusive hotel partner of the association of various castles in our region, Seven Castles. For centuries, the land between Leine and Weser has been shaped by the history of significant princely families. Here you can experience princely and bourgeois testimonies of past centuries, architectural peculiarities of the Weser Renaissance, Baroque, and Neo-Gothic. The 7 castles Schloss Hämelschenburg, Schloss Corvey, Schloss Bückeburg, Schloss Fürstenberg, Schloss Bevern, Schloss Marienburg and Schloss Pyrmont present courtly culture, renowned porcelain collections, and parks of the Weser Renaissance.
Embark on a tour along the castles to discover this particularly beautiful region of Germany.
Whether for a longer trip or a short getaway: In the Weserbergland, you can always discover something new. Half-timbered houses and Weser Renaissance, castles and palaces, as well as impressive landscapes with gentle hills and the calmly flowing Weser characterize the low mountain range region. Enjoy cycling on the four-star awarded and popular Weser Cycle Path, hiking tours on quality hiking trails, or follow the traces of the numerous historical towns and sites and immerse yourself in the over 1,000-year history of the Weserbergland. No matter how you want to spend your time with us: The Weserbergland is always worth a visit!
Nestled in the gentle landscape of the Weserbergland, surrounded by old trees, a special golfing experience awaits you at the Hamelner Golf Club. Two 18-hole courses lead through forests, hills, and wide meadows, offering impressive views.
Whether ambitious or relaxed – both experienced players and beginners will find ideal conditions here. For a shorter round, the charming Lucia von Reden Course is recommended, while the Baron von Münchhausen Course invites you to an extended golf day.
As our guest, you enjoy a reduced green fee price on both courses.
