Our Responsibility for the Future

From the Region: We prefer seasonal products from regional, responsibly working suppliers and increasingly rely on homemade products.
Our Own Bees: Several bee colonies have found a home in our castle park.
Organic Quality: We serve you a select range of organic wines and organic teas.
Resource Conservation: By intelligently consolidating goods orders, we avoid unnecessary transport routes. We also reduce portion packaging to a minimum and have adjusted our sous-vide cooking methods to save vacuum bags.
Circular Economy: Generated organic waste is consistently converted into new energy through the ReFood system.

Natural Heat: An in-house, modern woodchip heating system provides climate-friendly heat from renewable raw materials.
Green Electricity: We use 100% certified green electricity.
Intelligent Technology: A new fresh water station saves around 15% of energy costs. Timers and motion detectors in the corridors ensure efficiency.
Smart Hotel Rooms: Special presence switches ensure that lights and air conditioning are automatically turned off when you leave your room.
E-Mobility: Eight universal e-charging stations (Type 2) are available in our parking lot.

Reusability: We use refillable cleaning agents and microplastic-free cosmetic products in the rooms.
Water Saving: Only the most modern, water-saving washing machines are used in our housekeeping.
Waste Avoidance: Strict waste recycling and consistent waste separation are a matter of course for us.
